The Boucher Farm
The Grey-Bouchers
Kyle’s sister, Janet, and her husband, Daniel, found their crops suffering as the neighbouring farms sold to private equity. Happy to pivot, the pair severed their property, sold lots to Mom and Chrishell, and Pop and Kyle, and prepared to transition to vertical pea farming.
Carl, a disgraced nuclear physicist, was out for his weekly country drive when a braying donkey ran in front of his sportscar. He safely swerved around the animal and stopped his car on the road shoulder. The donkey looked into his eyes, and he heard a voice in his head, “follow the donkey, free the pig.” Excited to finally use his hazard lights, Carl parked the car, followed the donkey off the road, and freed the pig stuck in a fruit bush.
The voice in his head returned, “thanks, we’re occupied setting up a vertical pea farm. Oh, we see from your thoughts that you’re a pea enthusiast and have science questions! Why don’t you come around to the front gate and talk to our dad?”
A short conversation and time later, Carl moved into the Boucher’s log cabin and started working on the vertical pea farm. Using nuclear physics, the Boucher Farm produced the best peas, allowing the triplets to stop farming and focus on their telepathic pursuits.
